Hi, I’m Sheri Hartnett.

I’m an artist, military spouse, and mother of three creating original acrylic paintings and fine art prints inspired by the places that make us pause and the landscapes that make a place feel like home.

My work is rooted in the beauty and calm of the Lowcountry—quiet marshes at sunrise, swaying palms along the coast, winding waterways, and the soft colors of a Southern sunset. Through layered acrylic paint and expressive brushwork, I aim to capture not just what a place looks like, but how it feels to be there.

As a military family, we’ve called many places home. With every move comes a new landscape to discover, appreciate, and eventually carry with us. Those experiences have given me a deeper appreciation for the places that shape our memories and reminded me that home is more than a location—it’s a feeling.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I worked as a Registered Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. Caring for families during some of life’s most fragile moments taught me to slow down, notice beauty in the ordinary, and cherish the places and people we love. That perspective continues to influence the way I create today.

I want my paintings to bring that same sense of stillness and appreciation into your home—a reminder of a favorite place, a meaningful season of life, or simply the feeling of being somewhere peaceful.

Whether you’re collecting an original painting or choosing a fine art print, I hope my work becomes more than something beautiful on your wall. I hope it becomes part of your story.

Thank you for being here and for supporting independent artists and small businesses.
