Three aircraft, three chapters of a Marine aviator’s career — the T-45 where it begins, the Harrier of the legacy fleet, and the F-35 that flies today.
Originally painted for my husband, these Marine Corps aircraft fly in loose formation above a soft, mountainous horizon: a red-and-white T-45 Goshawk — the trainer that carries every naval aviator through flight school; an AV-8B Harrier in slate gray — the iconic vertical-takeoff jet of the legacy fleet; and an F-35B Lightning II in dark stealth gray — the aircraft flying off Marine flight lines today. Painted in acrylic with a quiet sky and drifting clouds, the piece reads like a career arc caught mid-flight: where you started, what you flew, what you fly now.
A heartfelt tribute to the Marine and Naval Aviators whose path runs from Pensacola and Kingsville through the legacy Harrier squadrons and into the F-35B — and to the spouses, parents, and children who cheered them through every winging, every check ride, every deployment.
An open-edition fine art print of the original painting, produced on archival cotton paper with archival inks for lasting color and depth. Each print is hand-signed by the artist.
A meaningful gift for active-duty Marine and Navy pilots, retiring aviators, military spouses, parents, and the children of pilots. At home in a study, ready room, hangar wall, or a child’s room where someone is already dreaming of the cockpit. Available in four sizes. For larger options please message me.
