A snowy egret stands quietly on a tuft of marsh grass at the water's edge, her white feathers catching the last of the light. Behind her, two small sailboats glide toward a wide cotton-candy horizon of peach, pink, and lavender, the pastel sky doubled in the still water below. Tall green cordgrass sweeps the foreground, opening into channels of marsh and tidal water that lead the eye out to the bay.

Painted in acrylic with the same soft, painterly hand as its companion piece. Where Golden Hour Marsh I holds the great blue heron at the foreground left, Golden Hour Marsh II answers with the snowy egret to the right — the two birds turning gently toward each other when the prints are hung side by side.
