“Harbor Daydreams” is an original 24x30 acrylic painting on a 1.5” deep gallery-wrapped canvas — the coastal companion to “Garden Whispers.” Built up in layers of powder blue, soft pink, sea-glass green, and warm cream, the composition gathers the icons of a Lowcountry harbor day — a great blue heron standing tall at the water’s edge, a pair of oyster shells, a full blue hydrangea, palmetto fronds, a satin bow, scattered hearts, and small pieces of pattern borrowed from antique linens and tile — then washes a quiet white veil across the surface so the scene feels remembered rather than looked at directly.

The sides of the canvas are hand-painted to extend the soft, decorative finish all the way around the edges, so the piece reads beautifully from any angle and needs no additional framing. Hung on its own, it brings a calm, coastal pastel to a wall; paired with its sister piece, “Garden Whispers,” the two form a coordinated diptych that’s especially lovely flanking a bed, a console table, or a sunroom doorway.
