A roseate spoonbill stands in shallow water at the edge of a Lowcountry creek, her blush-pink feathers ruffled like a tutu, her white head turned slightly toward the viewer. Behind her, tall marsh grasses rise in vivid greens with whispers of pink and lavender; beneath her, the water dances in soft pastel reflections. Painted in acrylic with a brighter, more lively palette than the original Pink Serenity — still tender, but humming with morning energy.

This is the second piece in the Pink Serenity series — a companion to the original spoonbill at rest in glassy water. Hang them together as a diptych for a soft, dreamy pair, or alone for a single statement of pink-and-green coastal joy. Either way, the same quiet, ballet-like grace runs through both.
